How is PRP done?

The PRP procedure consists of a simple and short process. In the first stage, a small amount of blood is taken from the person. This blood is then separated in a special centrifuge device to obtain platelet-rich plasma. In the final stage, this plasma is injected into the target area with fine-tipped needles. Local anesthetic creams can be used during the procedure and the patient feels almost no pain. The PRP procedure usually takes 30-45 minutes and the patient can return to his/her daily life immediately after the procedure.

When is the effect of PRP seen?

The effects of PRP treatment are usually noticeable within the first few weeks. A brighter and younger skin appearance or stronger hair becomes evident after a few sessions. For the lasting effects of the treatment, several sessions at 3-4 week intervals are usually recommended. Although the results of the treatment vary according to the individual, the results obtained can leave a long-lasting effect.
